Giant Story!

Here’s an interesting work story from this past Tuesday I had forgotten when I tried to write it down.

I was on one of the express lanes. Even though both lanes were open there were still two huge lines of customers. Looking up in desperation I noticed two people from the old barn where I used to ride horses. By itself, it was interesting that they would be waiting in my line. It was because of them, people like them, and the general whore atmosphere they created in the place, that made me leave the barn after nine years. Of course I would have to confront them, although I kind of wished I hadn’t been working at Giant just then. Despite that, in a way I was looking forward to it, and was thinking about what kind of a remark I was going to make. But the very moment that it was their turn I heard a voice behind me, a manger informing me that it was time for my break. Naturally I couldn’t say anything to the barn people now! I had to quickly get my stuff and leave, so I avoided any more eye contact and went away, unfortunately not before they had recognized me. An opportunity missed.

Tonight was the CBA bonfire which was awesome, especially since I can drive and could stay and talk long after all the freshmen’s moms took them home to bed.

I love Rachel.
