I just want to say that about 75% of the songs I have been hearing when I turn on the radio (especially MIX 106.5) are one of the following:
- Womanizer – Britney Spears
- Let It Rock – Kevin Rudolf featuring Lil’ Wayne
- Single Ladies – Beyoncé
- Live Your Life – T.I. featuring Rhianna
Seriously, I know they’re popular and all, but for heaven’s sake—too much of a good okay thing! I have literally gotten out of the car to go to Giant while one song is playing, and then gotten back into the car to the sound of the very same song.

I think all you have to do is hear one of those songs once and it’s a bit much…I mean really.
example:
Womanizer. Woman. Womanizer. You’re a womanizer. Oh womanizer. Oh you’re a womanizer baby.
or
All my single ladies! All my single ladies! All my single ladies! All my single ladies! All my single ladies! All my single ladies!
Fortunately I see you’re a man of taste with melon collie and the infinite sadness.
I feel you. The interesting thing about those kinds of popular songs is that they’re quite catchy. That’s why I try not to hate on them across the board. But yes, there is a limit to how much of that a person can take before switching to something more complex. See the “listening to” section.
