More from Downtown Chattanooga

I took a bunch of pictures in Chattanooga, but since we’re going to be here in Flagstaff a second night (and the time change wakes us up early) I think I’m going to have the time to process all of them. There are some beautiful buildings and artwork in the city; somehow I made it through the sculpture gardens with only one mosquito bite, an incredible feat given that my body is considered a gourmet treat in the biting insect community.

The way the fountain included the whole stairwell was pretty neat. My remarks about the people swimming in it are in another post, but this one has the pictures that inspired them. Other pictures to look out for in this set are the random kids doing things like poling rafts into the fountain and fishing next to the “no fishing” signs, and the detailed sign explaining that no, you cannot bring your firearms onto the public recreational property.
