A bunch of us went to the beach this weekend, because we live in SoCal and we can. Great times with some good company! Of course, Rachel was one of the few who went all the way into the water—child’s play for a girl who goes swimming in the ocean during Maryland’s winter.
It took those of us who had never been to Huntington a little while to figure out the final steps of where to go, but we eventually all met up and scored a fire pit (The state park charges $15 per vehicle for parking…ouch). The folks at some of the nearby fire pits had some impressive fuel supplies. They pretty much dismantled a fence and loaded it into a truck to burn.
I didn’t take my big camera for fear of sand, but I do have a gallery of grainy cellphone camera shots. They’re better than the ones my old phone took, anyway. It’s odd to realize that this camera has more megapixels than my first (and much chunkier) digital camera.
