On Tuesday we invited Kristopher over to Jason and Kaylin’s house while they were at work and cooked some absolutely mouth-watering grilled vegetable sandwiches and sweet potato fries. Prep time was much longer than we expected, but even Rachel admitted the meal was worth the wait. I think we can congratulate ourselves on a job well done.
Kristopher sustained some bodily harm in the form of cuts and burns during the process. Note how boldly he smiles even while in the shadow of this adversity.
I had wanted to take some pictures of the colorful, summer-filled meal, but by the time I remembered, we’d eaten everything. Those crumbs represented excellence, folks.
I have to admit, I’m jealous that two people can comfortably cook in Jason and Kaylin’s kitchen. While the one we’re moving to isn’t nearly as big, I’m holding out hope that it will at least be larger than the one we left.
