…until I forgot it.
But I’m going to stop being so predictable in this journal. There are all kinds of stresses and things in life, and if you’re always thinking about them, you prevent yourself from really enjoying life. There’s nothing wrong with caring about that stuff; in fact, it’s a requirement. However, sometimes you just have to stop thinking about it and hang out with some really cool friends.
Which is what I’m going to be doing this weekend. Rachel and Jason and Soren (Rachel’s older sister) and I are going corn mazing. We’ve been trying to do this for something like three years now, and now it’s finally happening. And if it rains then I will personally collect every droplet and shove it right back up that clouds’… Okay, I’ll just get wet. Try it sometime, gather a few friends and be crazy in the rain.
Stuff like that is a really important part of life. Lose sight of the everyday simple pleasures and you’ve lost a part of your humanity. Kind of like the character in that story I wrote a while back. Heh, still thinking about sending that in to a magazine but haven’t gotten around to it yet.
I love Rachel! Boycott Giant! Tell CompUSA to hire me!
I’m happy because I finally got one of my college application essays finished, and I did a bunch of stuff today to help my “position” in the world as far as education and employment.
I’m happy because I have cool friends that I get to hang out with and loads of other cool friends to talk to. Tim, we are going to hang out again soon.
The Bionicle movie came out Tuesday! Watch it, it’s fun! Hooray for CGI Lego, because that really kicks. And hooray for underground and lesser known bands, because Silence the Fall is tight. Go listen to them. Now. Silence the Fall. (4/16/2020: While the band’s website is long-dead, their music has apparently made it to Spotify.)
High fives and Rachel kisses. Okay, well, you can share in the high fives, but the Rachel kisses are for me. Heehee.
